168 – Corner Swivel Combination

A versatile swivel fitting, useful for awkward applications where angles cannot be accommodated by adjustable angle fittings. The through tube (vertical in photo) cannot be joined within the fitting. The assembly is riveted together, although items can be supplied separately as 168M and 2 x 173F.
The swivels can travel approximately 85° from the horizontal in both directions. This fitting is not designed to withstand lateral loading. An entire structure should not be built using only swivel fittings, this would be unstable.

Warning: To provide sufficient stability, whole structures must not be made fromswivel fittings alone.
